About My Art

In my home studio, I have created many scenes depicting Gulf Coast scenes and wildlife, along with well-known landmarks around Gulfport.

However, my true passion is painting portraits of people from historical time periods (like the Renaissance) and exotic cultures, such as my geisha series.

Most recently I have created a series entitled "Joie de Vivre" (joy of life) featuring women of Parisian nightlife, including nightclub singers and cancan dancers. They are women who are who live on the outskirts of "proper" society, but they are by no means ashamed of who they are. It was my wish to depict their pride and "joie de vivre" which comes from this freedom and independence of living.

Contact me for custom works or portraits on commission! You can come by and see my work at Bella Bleu Art Studio and Gallery in Gulfport.

My work is available in New Orleans, LA, in Adorn and Le Jardin on Royal St; the Artist's Market on Decatur; and seasonally at the New Orleans Pizza Kitchen.
